spend the weekend in paris.took a lot pictures,however, in many important moments my camera was at the apartment, so i couldn't turn some moments into my personal frame of memory. sometimes i feel like i need the camera to memorize, to not forget how things felt,which is funny because when looking at pictures one tends to look at the people in them,not of the people who took them.
but then our better judgement reminds us that this is only partly true.we have a picture in our wallet because someone took it. we have it because the person on it is meaningful to us. i still like to persist in the belief that photographs are true- in the way that this is what i saw at that time.
